Pinta in Washington D.C.

In partnership with Meridian International Center, CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean – and CC LATAM, Pinta presents in Washington D.C. the exhibition “Travesías / Journeys,” a milestone in strengthening cultural ties between Latin America, the Caribbean, and the United States.

Curated by Irene Gelfman, Global Curator of Pinta, the exhibition brings together 15 works by artists from 7 countries, acquired by CAF at Pinta Miami, the contemporary art fair specialized in Latin American art. Addressing themes such as identity, memory, territory, technology, and the environment, the works invite a journey through the region’s shared challenges and diversity.

The opening was held at the historic White-Meyer House, where architectural heritage engaged in dialogue with contemporary visual expressions. For CAF, the exhibition reaffirms culture as a driver of development and integration by adding these works to its permanent collection.

“Travesías / Journeys” will be on view until the end of September at the Meridian International Center campus, offering U.S. audiences an immersion into the artistic pulse of Latin America and the Caribbean.
