Sharon Lerner
Curator based in Lima, Peru, and Director and Curator of Contemporary Art at the Museo de Arte de Lima (MALI), focuses her practice on the research, production, and circulation of contemporary art, developing exhibitions, publications, and institutional projects.
At MALI, where she has held various curatorial roles since 2012, she has led major exhibitions and initiatives that connect local contexts with international platforms. She has contributed to projects such as the Medellín Encounter (MED15), the Getty Foundation’s PST: LA/LA initiative, and ARCO Madrid, where she co-curated the exhibition Amazonías.
She has edited publications and catalogues on contemporary Peruvian art and has collaborated on research and exhibition projects with international institutions.
