EFG Bank, ArtNexus, and LIAISONS are organizing, for the fifteenth consecutive year, the EFG Latin America Art Award, an acquisition prize for the work of a contemporary Latin American artist. The award is granted through a pre-selection process at five Latin American art fairs.
As part of the Acquisition Program, the In Situ Award took place in NEXT | Out of Focus on Friday, October 25, at 5:30 p.m.

As part of the Acquisition Program, on Thursday, October 16, the Museo Moderno de Buenos Aires, with the support of the Friends of the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires Association and Pinta BAphoto, added two works by Marina Alessio —Humo sobre tela and Fantasma— to its collection. These pieces were presented by CasaProyecto Gallery in the RADAR section.
Additionally, the Moderno acquired the work Alejandro Kuropatwa from the Mujer 2001 series — color photography, vintage print.
The foundation acquired four photographs by Ignacio Iasparra from Cosmocosa Gallery (Main Section). These are analog, single-edition color prints, part of the series Un día cualquiera, created in 2006.
