Federico Curutchet (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

Federico Curutchet is a consultant in contemporary art and cultural strategies. He studied Philosophy (UBA), Arts Criticism (UNA), and Art Appraisal and Valuation (UMSA). For more than a decade, he developed his professional career within the Latin American contemporary art system at a global level.

He served as General Coordinator at De Sousa Gallery (2013–2015), Rolf Gallery (2015–2017), Director of Barro Gallery (2017–2022) in Buenos Aires, and Director of W—Gallery (2023–2025), with locations in Buenos Aires and Pueblo Garzón (Uruguay).

Beyond his work in galleries, he has curated projects for public and private institutions, written critical reviews and specialized essays, participated as a speaker at conferences, developed local and international fair proposals, and advised contemporary art collections.

He currently runs his own consulting practice, where he works as a curator, advisor in Latin American contemporary art, and consultant in cultural and management strategies—advising collections, representing artists independently, and supporting projects that connect art and thought from a critical and structural perspective.
