Pinta Lima promotes a series of awards and acquisitions that recognize the excellence and commitment of artists and galleries to contemporary practices. These initiatives aim not only to highlight outstanding works and projects within the fair, but also to create concrete opportunities for visibility, circulation, and international projection. They also acknowledge curatorial quality and stand presentation, valuing the integral work of participating galleries.

EFG Latin America Art Award

Organized by EFG Bank, ArtNexus, and LIAISONS, this acquisition award—now in its sixteenth edition—recognizes the work of a contemporary Latin American artist through nominations made at various fairs across the region, including Pinta Lima. The final winning work will be announced at Pinta Miami and will be acquired by EFG Capital and incorporated into its collection in Miami.

RADAR Section Artist Incentive Award presented by Audi

Audi presents an award aimed at recognizing an artist from the RADAR section whose work engages with values such as innovation, design, performance, and sustainability, understood as drivers of creativity and forward-thinking vision. Proposals that integrate concept and materiality with boldness will be especially valued, exploring new languages and conscious processes. The winning artist will receive a prize, joint official promotion, and the possibility of exhibiting in an Audi space.

Through this recognition, SURA reaffirms its commitment to cultural development in the region, promoting works that articulate critical reflection, social sensitivity, and innovation in their processes and materials. The overall quality of presentation will also be considered, highlighting stands that achieve a coherent, solid, and meaningful staging.
