Statement
"Time, light in space, is the overarching theme in my work.
Time appears to expand, rendering linear time relative. These images bring space and time together; the scenes depicted exist solely in the visible photographic image, rather than in our tangible reality. The language of images captures time using light as it settles into the night, outlining shapes that acquire a language of their own.
Cultural and natural objects merge over time; light preserves an unconscious memory.
My work is composed of particles of accumulated time that shape a non-existing reality—a new dimension of time and space.
Time captures new realities."
