The Pinta Art Foundation is a non-profit organization aimed at promoting appreciation for Latin American arts and culture through educational programs for diverse audiences and training for the artistic community.
Based on the premise that art is a powerful driver for transforming our contexts and building new sensitivities, the foundation seeks to support the talent of emerging and established artists in connection with Latin America; to accompany the education of galleries and their artists; and to sustain a strong commitment to making the arts known to the entire community/an increasingly wider audience.
The Pinta Foundation complements and supports Pinta's mission of promoting Latin American art while promoting the continuous regeneration of an interconnected and expansive ecosystem among curators, collectors, gallery owners, artists, public-private institutions, and art enthusiasts.
Through scholarships and financial support, the Foundation facilitates participation in educational programs, artist residencies, professional platforms, and international exchanges, helping expand networks, experiences, and opportunities for professional development.
FORO is a program dedicated to thought, discussion, and exchange, promoted by Fundación Pinta in collaboration with Pinta. Held in conjunction with the art fairs and Art Weeks organized by Pinta, it brings together artists, curators, researchers, museum directors, gallery owners, and other cultural actors to discuss contemporary artistic practices and the challenges facing the Latin American cultural ecosystem.
Pinta Foundation promotes the visibility and recognition of Latin American artists through Open Files, a series of interviews and research-based content that offers audiences insight into artists' practices, creative processes, and interests, told in their own words.
Conceived as a living and continuously expanding archive, Open Files documents and disseminates the diversity of voices, trajectories, and perspectives that shape contemporary Latin American art.
Pinta Foundation is committed to supporting and promoting the work of Latin American artists, contributing to their development, visibility, and international reach. Through support for exhibitions, awards, and special initiatives, this section brings together actions that foster diverse artistic careers, creating opportunities to connect with new audiences, curators, institutions, and collectors.
CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean – and Pinta, the leading international platform for the promotion of Latin American and Ibero-American art, maintain a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening, increasing the visibility of, and projecting the region’s artistic production on a global scale. Through this collaboration, both institutions support cultural initiatives, outreach programs, and activities across Pinta’s various fairs, Art Weeks, and special projects, fostering exchange, the circulation of artists, and the international positioning of Latin American culture.
