FORO

FORO is a program dedicated to thought, discussion, and exchange, promoted by Fundación Pinta in collaboration with Pinta. Held in conjunction with the art fairs and Art Weeks organized by Pinta, it brings together artists, curators, researchers, museum directors, gallery owners, and other cultural actors to discuss contemporary artistic practices and the challenges facing the Latin American cultural ecosystem. Through panel discussions, book presentations, and meetings open to the public, FORO encourages the circulation of ideas, the development of new audiences, and the strengthening of collaborative networks at the regional and international levels.

Each edition addresses topics related to contemporary artistic production, curatorial practices, the internationalization of art, the development of collections and museums, research, the publishing of specialized works, and the relationship between art, territory and community. Recent topics have included the role of biennials and museums today, the construction of institutional narratives, the international circulation of Latin American art, and the links between education, research, and artistic practice. The conversations explore perspectives from different regions and disciplines, fostering exchange between local and international scenes and contributing to a broader understanding of the debates shaping contemporary art in Latin America.
