Statement
My work explores the intersection of theatre, film, and photography. Beyond mere documentation, my photography not only records the theatrical event; it captures dramatic tension, visual geographies, and the intimacy of the actor before the light. Between the rigour of black and white, evoking Expressionist cinema, and the scenographic use of contemporary colour, each piece transforms the fleeting instant of performance into a unique image. A continuous dialogue between fiction, the body in action, light, and theatrical architecture. I deconstruct the staging to reinterpret it through the photographic frame, creating a world of “real fictions” that persist beyond the applause.
