Cecilia Szalkowicz

Cecilia Szalkowicz (Buenos Aires, 1972) graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), where she also taught. She was a member of the collective Suscripción; participated in the Kuitca Scholarship Program (2003–2005); and was part of the teaching staff of the Artists Program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. She participated in the CIFO Grants Program (Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation, Miami), the 2nd Poli/Gráfica Triennial of San Juan: Latin America and the Caribbean, and the 12th Cuenca Biennial. She has held numerous exhibitions in Argentina and abroad. She received the Braque Prize in 2019 and the 8M Prize in 2023. Her work is held in the collections of the Museo de Arte Moderno de Buenos Aires (MAMBA), the Museo Castagnino+macro (Rosario), the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA, New York), among others.
