Project CALLE is a photographic initiative that aims to give people living in vulnerable conditions—often leading them to experience homelessness—the opportunity to express themselves by sharing their reality with the community through images captured with disposable cameras or mobile devices.
Over the past 21 years, more than 350 people who have experienced homelessness have photographed the city using disposable cameras. These are pictures of Buenos Aires, but for them, beyond being images of their city, they are portraits of their home. It is a deeply personal perspective in which the photographers invite us into their world and open the doors to a unique city.
