Ismael Abrahan, co-director of ALMACÉN | contemporary art |, was born in Rosario, in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. Through the gallery, he develops strategies for art circulation, communication, institutional development, and support for artists and collectors, connecting projects between San Nicolás and Buenos Aires.
His practice focuses on building connections between artworks, audiences, and everyday spaces, with a particular interest in the acquisition process and the development of art collections. In 2026, together with Leo Mayer, he was selected for the UdeSA–CIS–Santander program, which supports the growth and professionalization of cultural projects, for their gallery ALMACÉN.
