Lux Valladolid (Buenos Aires, 1989) is a visual artist and performer who investigates how contemporary life choreographs our bodies in public and institutional contexts. Her practice, centered on performance, video, and photography, moves between different personas to explore agency and programmed behavior.
Her research has been presented in museums and academic settings, including the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA) and the Kunstmuseum Basel. Her project Are You an NPC? began during her residency at Atelier Mondial in Switzerland, supported by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council’s South America program, and culminated in a performance at Kunstforum Baloise Park during Art Basel 2025.
She collaborates with curators, photographers, directors, and designers to develop live formats and documentary projects in museums, public spaces, and educational contexts. She also works as a creative director alongside institutions, brands, and content creators, designing narratives and experiences for both digital and in-person environments.
