RADAR

Curator: Guad Creche

The RADAR section brings together artists from different generations and regions, with diverse trajectories, who find in performance a central field for experimentation and a space for critical expression. The selection establishes a dialogue between iconic works and recent productions, offering an approach to the transformations of the genre over the past twenty years.

The curatorial framework revolves around performance and photo-performance, both conceived as practices of disruption and visibility that have become consolidated as an expanded genre within contemporary art.

Within this context, the practice takes on multiple and active roles: it is documentation, action, and gesture. The proposal seeks to create connections around the themes that emerge from the works—such as identity, representation in political contexts, the relationship with territory, the power of fiction, and the complex layers of memory.
