Rascacielos

Within the framework of CAF’s institutional stand at Pinta BAphoto 2026, Rascacielos is presented, a series that began with a performance in the city of Rosario, on the banks of the Paraná River. Three articulated arms and their respective operators perform a choreography to the rhythm of Johann Strauss’s waltz Voices of Spring, played by a live orchestra.

There is a collective imaginary surrounding the rebellion of machines, often marked by violence and destruction. This work proposes an alternative Armageddon and asks: what would happen if machines imitated other human behaviors, such as kissing, embracing, drawing, or dancing?
