Since its inception in 2015, we have brought to life this space dedicated to vintage photography, including daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, albumen prints, and gelatin silver prints, always with the guidance of photography historian Abel Alexander, who takes center stage in this edition’s Special Project.
As both a gallery and an auction house, at Hilario. Artes Letras Oficios we have created a space devoted to photography as an artistic expression and a historical record. We have published nine catalogues—now regarded as reference titles—and offered hundreds of works through the auctions we have held for nearly a decade.
Always within the Wunderkammer section and featuring genuine treasures, this year we present a selection of works from the collections of César Gotta and Luis Priamo.
