Carlos García Montero
Curator, educator, and art dealer, based in Lima, Peru. His practice explores the relationships between art education, curatorial practice, and the contemporary art market, fostering platforms for the development of artists and new audiences.
He has developed projects in New York, Madrid, and Lima, and has served as a juror for the Peruvian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. He currently leads the academic and exhibitions departments at Corriente Alterna and Centro de la Imagen, and heads the Visual Arts program at Gaya Galería.
