Roberto Huarcaya

Roberto Huarcaya

Photographer and visual artist, based in Lima, Peru. His practice operates at the intersection of photography, technical experimentation, and landscape exploration, with a sustained international trajectory.

He has participated in major biennials, fairs, and exhibitions across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, including the Venice Biennale, PhotoEspaña, Paris Photo, and the Daegu Photography Biennale, among others. In 2025, he was a finalist for the Prix Pictet.

He is the founder and former director of Centro de la Imagen in Lima, a key institution for photography education and dissemination in Peru.
