Sol Henaro

Director of the Museo Universitario del Chopo, UNAM.

Curator and Director of the Museo Universitario del Chopo, UNAM, since 2024. Her practice focuses on the politics of memory and the questioning of historiographic narratives, foregrounding less visible genealogies within contemporary art.

She has been a member of Red Conceptualismos del Sur since 2010. She has developed an extensive curatorial and research practice, notably at the Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo (MUAC), where she led the Arkheia Documentation Center.

She is the author of Melquiades Herrera (Alias Editorial, 2015) and has participated in international curatorial platforms such as the 35th São Paulo Biennial.
