He has presented numerous solo exhibitions in institutions and galleries such as Shiras Gallery (Valencia), Espacio Líquido (Gijón), Untitled Art Contemporani (Andorra), GISELA – Freier Kunstraum Lichtenberg (Berlin), Modus Operandi Gallery (Madrid), and Anquin’s Gallery (Reus).
His work has also been featured at major contemporary art fairs, including Estampa (Madrid), Art Madrid, Art Fair Cologne, and India Art Fair (Delhi), among others.
Roura’s works are part of several public and private collections such as the Kells Art Collection, Bodegas Enate, Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.), Hotel de Crillon (Paris), Soho House Mumbai, Cambra de la Propietat Urbana de Barcelona, and the Pinnae Foundation.
Throughout his career, he has received multiple grants and awards, including the 2025 Kells Art Collection Award at Abierto Valencia (Shiras Gallery), the Neue Start Kultur Scholarship from Stiftung Kunstfonds (Germany), and the ENATE Scholarship (Spain). He has also participated in international artist residencies in Berlin, Mumbai, and Palma de Mallorca.
Statement
Oliver Roura (b. Spain) is a visual artist whose practice explores the relationships between materiality, perception, and the processes of painting. Trained between Spain and Germany, Roura has developed an international career with exhibitions across Europe and Asia.
