Her work has been featured in both national and international art fairs, including ARCO from 2020 to 2023, Estampa from 2021 to 2024, and ARCOlisboa in 2022.
In addition to being an artist-in-residence at the Contemporary Art Center of Córdoba in 2019, she has participated in residencies such as “Térmica Creadores” in Málaga, “Ifitry Residence” in Morocco, “Contextile” in Porto, and “Dekandoo” in Senegal.

Statement

Paloma works with ceramics as a way to explore the body, the earth, and one’s own existence. Her work establishes a symbolic and political connection between the body and place, using clay —a vital and ancestral material— as a medium to weave together memory, landscape, and identity. In her hands, clay becomes a refuge, a shield, or a prison; an extension of the body that holds both the intimate and the collective.
