Twenty-four artists dialogue about the history of Panamanian art through 30 works in different techniques and supports. The tour, in this exhibition, begins in 1930 with a watercolor by the master Rubén Villalaz and continues with works from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, by consecrated artists such as Isaac Benítez, Ciro Oduber, Alfredo Sinclair, Marco Ernesto, Guillermo Trujillo, Manuel Chong Neto, Eudoro Silvera, Carlos González Palomino, and Jorge March, among other valuable exponents of national art.

In addition to the pictorial works, the exhibition includes a selection of bronze sculptures by the master Carlos Arboleda, one of them, a majestic horse conceived during his years in Italy, which stands out as the centerpiece of the exhibition.

The purpose of Portal de Épocas is not to generate nostalgia but to carry out "an exercise of cultural sovereignty that ensures that our history continues to vibrate as a living testimony of plurality and resilience, in which new generations recognize its origin".

Great Masters of National Art aims to recognize the memory of the country through art. "By highlighting our visual heritage, we contribute to making today's boys and tomorrow's men more aware of the past and valuing their identity."

The exhibition, of great artistic diversity, is an example of the plurality that emerged from the Isthmus of Panama as a geographical crossing point, where different cultures have converged, through the events that have shaped its history. An opportunity to witness the artistic evolution of the country by the hand of its main exponents.
