Canal de Panamá

The Panama Canal is a waterway that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean.

It is one of the world’s most important maritime routes—spanning 82 km, it links the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans by crossing the narrowest point of the Isthmus of Panama.

Inaugurated in 1914, it stands as one of the greatest engineering feats of the 20th century and a key axis of international trade.

This engineering marvel is also one of the main tourist attractions in Panama City.
