We are pleased to announce a new collaboration between Pinta Art Foundation and El Espacio 23 to develop an artist residency in connection with Pinta Miami 2026.
As part of this partnership, an artist will be selected during Pinta Miami 2026 to participate in El Espacio 23’s residency program. Pinta Art Foundation will support the selected artist by covering airfare, while El Espacio 23 will provide accommodation and participation in the program.
More than an opportunity for exposure, the residency seeks to provide an environment in which the selected artist can deepen their practice, engage in new exchanges, and build stronger connections with other cultural and professional communities.
This partnership supports one of Pinta Art Foundation’s primary goals: to transform the visibility, networks, and connections built through Pinta into sustained opportunities for Latin American artists.
Through its Residencies and Mobility programs, Pinta Art Foundation supports Latin American artists in accessing research, production, and exchange opportunities that broaden their professional horizons and create new possibilities for growth.
This collaboration with El Espacio 23 represents another step forward in that journey, while also serving as an initial model for future initiatives developed in partnership with Pinta’s various fairs and platforms.
At El Espacio 23, we see the residency program as an opportunity to give artists something increasingly valuable: time and space to focus on their practice, experiment, and engage in meaningful exchange. We are delighted to partner with Pinta Art Foundation to extend this opportunity to an artist participating in Pinta Miami and to create new connections between the fair, Miami’s cultural community, and the broader networks that surround both organizations.
