The collaboration between the two institutions promotes cultural platforms, professional networking events and forums for dialogue to promote Latin American art and its international reach.

CAF – the development bank for Latin America and the Caribbean – and the Pinta Foundation have announced a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the Latin American art ecosystem and promoting opportunities for dialogue, professional exchange and international exposure for artists, designers and creators from Latin America and the Caribbean, as a platform for recognition, exchange and regional cultural integration, within the framework of the Regional Cultural Programming, Circulation and Visibility Programme, led by the General Secretariat and coordinated by CAF’s Culture and Sport Department.

In this context, CAF acts as a strategic partner supporting the various initiatives launched by Pinta. Following the recent Pinta Panama Art Week, which brought together the international art community through a programme of exhibitions, tours and talks, the network continues to expand its presence in the region.

The Pinta programme now continues at Pinta Lima (22–26 April), which is celebrating its 13th edition as one of the leading hubs for contemporary art in Peru. Within this framework, the partnership with CAF supports the development of the local art scene, fostering links with the Latin American art circuit and creating new opportunities for exchange between artists, galleries, curators and collectors.

“This partnership with Fundación Pinta reflects CAF’s commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen cultural ecosystems from a regional perspective. Pinta’s initiatives provide key platforms for professional exchange and networking, which help to raise the profile and ensure the sustainability of Latin American art,” said Alejandra Claros Borda, CAF’s Secretary General.

For his part, Diego Costa Peuser, Global Director of Pinta, emphasised that “this partnership with CAF confirms that culture is a strategic pillar of development and a key forum for regional dialogue”.

In addition to financial support, the partnership includes collaboration on cultural platforms and forums for dialogue on the role of art in development, cultural diplomacy and the strengthening of the creative industries. In 2026, the Pinta events network includes gatherings in cities such as Panama City, Lima, Santo Domingo, Buenos Aires and Miami:

Pinta Lima: 22–26 April

Pinta BAphoto: 22–25 October

Pinta Santo Domingo Art Week: 11–15 November

Pinta Miami: 3–6 December
