Trinidad Metz Brea is a visual artist. Born in Uruguay, she lives and works in Buenos Aires. Her practice explores the construction of hybrid, more-than-human, non-binary, and monstrous worlds. She works with sculpture, drawing, painting, modeling, and 3D printing, combining digital tools with traditional techniques and crafts. Her work draws on gender theory, posthumanism, science fiction, scientific studies, anime, comics, and manga, and proposes imagining alternative forms of connection, survival, and coexistence.
