Valeria Bellusci

Bio

Born in La Plata, Buenos Aires, in 1970
She studied Museology at the University of the Argentine Social Museum. In 1992 he became interested in photography and entered the EMET Photographic Art School No. 31 in La Boca. In 1995 she joined the photographic essay workshops taught by Adriana Lestido.
In 1999 he obtained the Creation Scholarship from the National Endowment for the Arts, which allowed him to continue with his photographic essay “La vereda del corazón quieto”.
He has exhibited his works at the Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center, San Martín Theater Photo Gallery, MAC de Salta, the Mercosur Biennial, Porto Alegre.

Statement

Su obra de la serie Todas las manzanas cayeron, 2017, obtuvo el 1º Premio (Adquisición), en el Premio ArtexArte 2019 y forma parte del acervo de la Fundación Alfonso y Luz Castillo
