Ana Zorraquin
Bio
I studied Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of
Buenos Aires. My training in photography began at the Raota Institute. I participated in
various construction clinics, including those of Miguel Zurraco and the photographer
contemporary Vivian Galbán. I did editing workshops with Julieta Escardo, I
I trained in lighting at the Aloha school with Bob Lightowler, I did the Still-Life
workshop with Laura Letinsky and I attended the workshops on ancient techniques for developing Sandra Siviero and Célica Veliz.
I am part of the staff of the Imaginario Gallery, with which I attend different fairs
National and international.
I currently live and work in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Statement
Acervo tectónico pertenece a la serie Factum. Factum es un hecho que no necesita ser comprobado. Nuestro factum es que llegamos a este mundo sin pedirlo, en un tiempo, en un espacio, rodeados de determinadas personas, en determinadas circunstancias históricas. Podemos responder a esto de diferentes modos, pero es un hecho que no podemos cambiar, no elegido, real, objetivo, con el que tenemos que convivir y descifrar sus misterios.
Las imágenes emocionales que forman la memoria poseen una analogía con el término tectónico, están intrínsecamente vinculadas al origen, al factum de una persona y se van moviendo generando cambios en la forma de estar parados en el mundo. Tectónico está realizado en la técnica del cianotipo que le aporta esta extrañeza del no-tiempo.
