Statement

When I was young I came across the definition of art in the Royal Spanish Academy, which suggests as a first definition: ¨Doing something well. ¨ To which another question arose. What is “Good”? Or what parameter do I have for something well done? After years of thinking about this and searching, I didn't find anything better made than nature. So what is natural became my parameter when I say that I want to “do something well.”
I seek to transmit that experience that creation offers in intimacy and sincerity, which inevitably takes us to the beautiful and the good. It delights our senses and invites us to consider ourselves.
I identify myself in this phrase that my grandfather Konstantino, trained in Fine Arts in Vienna, exchanged with his friend Vladimir:
“To make beauty triumph over the disorder of ugliness in the field of human contemplation and to produce in man the thirst to materialize the beautiful”
The incomplete and impartial generates the possibility for the observer to complement the imperfect and thus have a complete illusion.
This is what I find in monochrome by not providing everything resolved, so the viewer participates and completes the work.
Patagonia was my home for almost 30 years which seduced me to its core. Today, discovering northern Argentina, I do not leave my passion for the land of the wind.
