To contribute to the development of the local art scene, Galeria La Cometa opened its doors 36 years ago in Bogota, Colombia. Since then, it has become a plural space focused on the representation, promotion, and circulation of Colombian and Latin American artists, whose practices address critical and aesthetic reflections.
For the gallery, it is important to think about our program from the Latin American references of Modern Art, which have offered a fundamental context to contemporary artistic production, facilitating dialogues between the spectator and the artistic production.
