Augusto Ballardo

Bio

Su propuesta se encuentra relacionada con lo geométrico a partir de su indagación en el espacio y en los ámbitos de la arquitectura, arqueología y biología. Recientemente exhibió “El último hangar” (Lima, 2021) y “Expedición - Sonidos del Aire” en la Galería Impakto, obteniendo el premio artista emergente en ArtLima Gallery Weekend (Lima, 2018).
Fue nominado al EFG Latin America Art Award (Lima-Miami, 2018) y recibió la beca Pivô Artus Grant (Lima-São Paulo, 2019).
Ha participado en distintas exposiciones colectivas e integrado diferentes residencias de arte en Latinoamérica como en “Zona30” (Perú, 2011), “Memorial de América Latina” (São Paulo, 2012), “Curatoría Forense” (Talca, 2015), “Espacio Showroom” (San Miguel de Allende, 2016). Además fue invitado a participar en destacadas instituciones culturales como la Fundación ArtNexus en “Más allá de la abstracción” y “Hágase la luz” (Bogotá-Miami, 2015-2017) y la 15º Bienal de Cuenca (Cuenca, 2021-2022).
