The EFG Latin America Art Award was established in 2010 in collaboration with Art Nexus as an annual acquisition prize granted to a contemporary Latin American artist.

In 2025, it celebrates its 15th anniversary, having become one of the most prominent recognitions of contemporary creation in the region.
