Antonio Margolles
Bio
Antonio Gomez Margolles (Cuba, 1972) graduated from the University of the Arts (ISA) in 1998. He has made personal exhibitions in Cuba, Spain and New Zealand, and has participated in numerous national and international group shows in countries such as Cuba, United States States, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Germany, France, New Zealand, etc. He has also participated in various Scholarship and Residency Workshops in European countries. Since 2008 he began to teach at ISA.
Statement
Antonio G. Margolles uses photography in his work in an experimental way linked many times to his installations, passing through different stages, and expressing his constant questioning about the nature of the human being.
