Plastic Artist Recieved a Bachellor of the Arts from the National University of the Arts (UNA) National “Maestro” of Drawing, National Painting Professor and National Drawing Professor. He works from a blank canvas, without previous tracing or drawing.
Statement
I'm a painter and draftsman. More painter. I started painting at the age of 12, in Yrurtia High School and I never stopped. I've been painting for over 30 years. I'm interested in painting a moment, a light, something of the time in my spaces. I work from nature, which allows me to capture the essential. I build my paintings without prior drawing. Staining large areas of color in which I differentiate lights from shadows. Spots of color, gestures, lines, recreate a space, a place at a certain moment.
