Bio
He begins his artistic training in his country of origin. In 2010 she moved to Brazil. Working with local artists she discovered new techniques. Later she moved to Miami, where she resides. She has studied Visual Arts at Miami Dade College and postgraduate studies at the University of Miami. She has exhibited at: Biennale Inter. dell’arte Contemporanea Firenze Italy; Pinta Miami Art Fair 2017, 18 and 19, and solo exhibitions at Artitact Gallery and Agora Gallery, N.Y., among others. Comienza su formación artística en su país de origen. En 2010 se trasladó a Brasil. Trabajando con artistas locales descubrió nuevas técnicas. Posteriormente se trasladó a Miami, donde reside. Ha realizado estudios en Artes Visuales en Miami Dade College y estudios de posgrado en la Universidad de Miami. Ha expuesto en: Biennale Inter. dell’arte Contemporanea Firenze Italy; Pinta Miami Art Fair 2017, 18 y 19, y exposiciones individuales en Artitact Gallery y Agora Gallery, N.Y., entre otras.
Statement
Through my art, I am hoping my viewing public will pause and reflect on the fascinating world we live in and understand our place in it as human beings beyond geographical borders, race or gender. The materials I use are selected for their symbolic value, reinforcing the message to be communicated and discovering new behaviors during the execution of the work. My paintings are the result of a "construction process", layer upon layer until the desired harmony is reached. A través de mi arte, deseo que el público reflexione sobre el fascinante mundo en el que vivimos y comprenda nuestro lugar en él como seres humanos más allá de las fronteras geográficas, la raza o el género. Los materiales que utilizo son seleccionados por su valor simbólico, reforzando el mensaje a comunicar y descubrir nuevos comportamientos durante la ejecución del trabajo. Mis pinturas son el resultado de un “proceso de construcción”, capa sobre capa hasta alcanzar la armonía deseada.
