His extensive trajectory has been recognized with numerous awards, such as the Prize of the XXXIV Salón Nacional de Artistas de Colombia in 1992. Nadin Ospina’s work is represented in international collections such as the Pérez Art Museum, Miami, USA; Rijksmuseum voor Volkenkunde, Leiden, Holland; Daros Latin American Collection, Zurich, Switzerland; Museo de las Américas, Denver, Colorado; Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá (MAMBO), Colombia, among others.

Statement

Nadín Ospina (Bogotá, Colombia, 1960) proposes unexpected encounters that confront us as human beings and as a society: Native Americans, monsters, pre-Hispanic figures, hybrid beings, aliens, with nods to pop culture and unique archaeological references.
