Claudia Kayat
Bio
Master in Design (2015) and Graduation in Design (1987) PUC-Rio, Specialization in Packaging Engineering (1993), Tokyo. Claudia has extensive experience in the areas of Design and Art, with works exhibited, awarded and published in Brazil and abroad. Since 2011 she has been a Professor, Adjunct Coordinator of Product Design, Product Innovation Researcher and Member of the Academic Commission for Undergraduate Design in the Department of Arts and Design at Pontifical Catholic University PUC-Rio.
Statement
I seek with art an inventive, thought-provoking, stimulating and pleasurable experience. I use my experience with materials, processes and geometry to make non-orientable sculptures with multiple layers, colors and textures, where there is no inside or outside, no beginning or end. An enigma.

Some instructions from the artist for conservation of the sculptures: _Manipulate the minimum necessary and with clean hands; _Do not use cleaning chemicals and dust with a duster; _Do not expose to bad weather.
