Bio

Study arts at the Cultural Foundation of the Federal District with Félix Alexandre Barrenechea. Have works in various world museums and collections, participed in some Venice, São Paulo and other Biennales. Create in 1969, with Guilherme Vaz and Frederico Morais, the Experimental Unit. Win the Spanish Velázquez Prize for the Plastic Arts.

Statement

A brazilian vanguard artist, the artist make works in various media, inducing reflections to to spectator. Although he doesn’t consider that his ar tis political, but poetic, have many Works with this thematic, specially some that he introduced into the brazilian society.
