Bio

Omar Said (Mexico, 1980) He studied at the Active School of Photography, the Image Center and the School of Film Art 7. His work has been presented in several museums, galleries and public spaces of Spain, Taiwan, Italy, Sweden, United States, Cuba, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Belize and Mexico. He is a co-founder and one of the coordinators of FrontGround / Galería Manolo Rivero.

Statement

Extraordinary series that reflects on the construction of the landscape through a ghostly and illusory method: it adds to the direct take the manipulation of photographs collected and rescued from flea markets, archives and public libraries in France and Argentina.
