Ricardo Siri
Bio
Born in Rio de Janeiro, in 1974. Lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Sound and visual artist, he transits among sculpture, performance, installation, photography and video. Multiple artist, his artworks connect art and life, in which sounds and objects are filled of concept, shape, experience and sonority. Percussionist graduated at Los Angeles Music Academy (USA), in 2007 entered the visual arts universe, embodying in his poetic elements from his musical experience arranged with organic materials and day-to-day materials. His visual and sound artworks have been exhibited in several countries, such as Germany, England and Italy, and he exhibited works at important institutions, like the Cerveira’s Biennial (Portugal), MAM-Rio (Brazil) and the Victoria and Albert Museum (England).
