Nicole Mazza

Studied painting and textile arts at the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011.
Interested in the iconography of women as seen through the lens of fantasies constructed in society using religious references, soap opera stereotypes and pop culture. Thus, Nicole questions the culture of violence towards women.
She is the founder of She / Folk, a feminist art collective that focuses on curatorial projects and publications. Nicole is also a writer and tango dancer.
