Charo Zapater
Bio
Charo Zapater Pomar, of Peruvian nationality, is studying Art in the specialty of Painting at Burton Manor College, Chester, England. He recorded at the San Jordi School of Fine Arts, Barcelona, Spain and in 1976 obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors at the School of Fine Arts in Rome, Italy. He lives and works between Florence and Lima.
Statement
From a stroke Everything begins with a stroke and the appearance of an image seems to depend on the very life of the gesture, this stroke is not descriptive but evocative, it forces us to look into our soul, inviting us to listen to our inner silence in order to let ourselves be carried away by intuition. Each image has in itself infinite images perceived by the feeling of each moment; infinite paths to follow a story made up of feelings, memories and forms.
