Andrey Guaianá Zignnatto
Bio
Born in Jundiaí, Brazil, in 1981. Lives and works in Jundiaí and São Paulo, Brazil.
A self-taught artist, since the beginning of his career, he has shown his work as an activator of the universe of work: cement bags, bricks, mortar joints, walls and construction fragments were used by the artist in multiple gestures, cut or repaired. Andrey Guaianá Zignnatto promotes a synthesis of the clash between tradition and contemporaneity and its effects on local societies and cultures, inviting the viewer to reflect on the unstable and dynamic relationship that human beings establish with their surroundings. He has works in important collections, such as the Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR, Brazil) and the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM, USA).
