Statement

I majored in Industrial Design and learned photography at the same time. Materials and forms have always been tools to highlight concepts in their symbolic presence.
I think the image through the poetic and political potential that arises from observation. Deeply curious about regimes of representation to question things while suggesting diverse
interpretations.
Expanded Photography is a field that I dedicate myself to experimenting with. Another line of inquiry in my practice is the voyage. The condition of foreignness and displacement is a source of inspiration. I am interested in the discrepancy between what we see and what we know, where these qualities contradict and coexist simultaneously. Combining artificial and natural elements I seek to question our patterned beliefs and therefore, arrive at new meaning.
How does our way of living influence the world around us?
Are we prisoners of our own beliefs?
What is the relationship between the visible and not visible, or between religion and spirituality?
I hope these questions that come out from my works evolve into new levels of reflection, to
revise how we perceive reality.
