Christian Ceuppens

Bio

Christian Jose Gonzalo Ceuppens Franco. Architect, graduated from the UCA where he has been teaching architecture and architectural design workshops since 1996. In 1990 he founded his architecture studio developing residential, commercial and cultural projects. He has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions presenting drawings, paintings, sculptures, installations and video art, as well as carrying out urban intervention projects. He presented his artistic work at the biennials of Venice (Italy), Mercosur Porto Alegre (Brazil) in 2000 and in Havana (Cuba) in 2002. In the field of fashion, he created his clothing brand in 2004 Hybrido, whose collections were exhibited at a local design event. Participates in plays, set design and costume design.

Statement

Art is part of my history, it is my life.
Since my childhood, art has been present.
I can see it reflected in my dreams, in my fears, it is the way I communicate, protest, admire and love.
