Statement
She works at the threshold between photography as documentation and photography as fiction.
Her images seek to explore the instant in which form has not yet become fixed and perception remains open. She understands photography as a territory where the visible never fully stabilizes: a space in which light dematerializes objects and transforms them into projections, ambiguous presences suspended between appearance and disappearance.
She constructs scenes with everyday objects, subjecting them to the effects of light, movement, and blur. The object then ceases to be recognizable, and its identity shifts toward the trace it projects.
In her work, color is a vehicle for content. Colors stimulate both ocular and emotional movement; this is how she generates subjectivity. Color functions as a force that guides perception and constructs a sensory experience.
Photography thus becomes the record of an ephemeral phenomenon: an image in an intermediate, hybrid state between materiality and fiction. She is interested in that moment before definitive form, that zero degree in which the image can still become many things.
She seeks to provoke an experience of perception: for what we see to become uncertain, and for us, when confronted with the image, to have to complete what is missing.
