Statement

I am interested in the life drive and the capacity to heal. I acknowledge the kindness I received during times of uncertainty, and in my artistic practice, I revisit that value to observe, question, and transform it. In many of my works, I explore how light enters wounds and what happens next. I am interested in what persists, transforms, and grows again. I work with memory as a way to resist oblivion: honoring lived experience without becoming trapped in the past. My process usually begins with research and observation. I analyze, draw connections, and gather images, experiences, and symbols. Art thus becomes a space for reflection and, at times, synthesis. Nature appears recurrently in my work. I view it as a realm of learning—its cycles, its capacity for regeneration, its fragility, and, simultaneously, its power. I am especially drawn to that which endures without fanfare. I am also interested in the bonds and synergies capable of generating positive transformations. Gratitude runs through my work not as a passive gesture, but as a force: a way of acknowledging what has been received and transforming it into something new. My work arises from that quest—from looking at the wound without denying its existence, yet directing attention toward the light that finds a way to pierce through it. I aspire for my practice to open spaces of sensitivity, connection, and transformation, and to contribute to making the world a kinder place.
