Statement
"My practice, centred on photo-performance and video installation, is deeply shaped by the conditions of the territory. I explore the distance between centre and periphery, as well as the climate, geography and political forces that shape the South. In my work, I burn and intervene in photographic surfaces to open up spaces of absence, transforming the image into both sign and scar. Through a poetics of the trace, I build a bridge between the visible and the latent, where the landscape asserts itself as a site of enunciation".
