Statement
Juan Gabriel Miño’s practice moves between moving image, film, photography, writing, poetry, and theater. His work brings these languages into dialogue, exploring what emerges at their intersection. In his photographs, he constructs scenes through a cinematic lens, working with framing, light, gestures, and situations. Some images emerge from his video works and take on an autonomy of their own; others are conceived directly as photographs, open to different narratives and to a tension between what they reveal and what they leave outside the frame.
