Statement
I understand my practice as a form of translating experiences through specific procedures grounded in the notion of the trace or imprint as a sign of memory. These elements and mechanisms are conceived as ways of measuring time and space, operating as acts of recognition and as means of marking a context, a geohistory.
A cyclical dimension runs through my processes: in the duration of the actions, in their recording, and in the ways they are narrated. At the same time, repetition becomes a persistent strategy that, beyond composition or medium, reinforces a gesture of physically constructing the work and the image.
